Image
Why do you travel? Possibly, most people would say that traveling is escaping from their stressful life. In my case, I travel not only to unwind but also to learn. For me traveling and learning should go hand in hand. Learning through traveling does not only means learning through our exhilarating and enervating experiences but also embracing the culture, tradition and history of each place. As the Prophet Mohammed had put it into his words: Don’t tell me how educated you are, tell me how much you traveled.” Indeed, it is through traveling that we could have the opportunity to reflect and gain some wisdom making us wiser individuals. So let me give you the 6 reasons why you should book a trip to the Pasig River via the Zooper Cruise. Then again, let me first give you a glimpse of what Zooper Group is all about Zooper Cruise Zooper Cruise is the newest venture of Zoomanity Group. 5 Reasons to Stay at Azalea Residences Baguio

Image
When I was still a young lass, I remember that every summer vacation my family would take the long aggravating hours of travel to Baguio City to escape from the oven-heat temperature from the low lands.   Back then we would always stay at a villa at an exclusive subdivision located at the outskirts of the city proper. Possibly, my parents prefers a villa secluded from the city because it’s safer for us kids to roam around and perhaps because it has ample parking spaces. Another factor would be, the available working kitchen for my mom to prepare our meals and the adequate rooms for all of us. I can still remember that I would walk two blocks from our rented place to play at the playground. Also, there’s a club house uphill the village wherein we usually dine out when we’re running out of food. Perhaps, staying in a villa when travelling to Baguio City was the best choice back then when renting transient houses were the trend and beautiful hotels have membership fees. I...

Image
Shabu-shabu at Grand Hoyah Ever wonder where to find the hotspot for a hot pot  Shabu-shabu in Subic Bay Freeport Zone?Well, look no more for Hotel Grand Hoyah got this for you.   Shabu-shabu at Grand Hoyah I've tried shabu-shabu before but I believe that this is the first time I've encountered plenty of tasteful ingredients in a single pot. Since most of the restaurants that offers hot pot would let you pay for each ingredient, thus, you'll end up having less toppings and a bland dish 'coz you're too worried having a humongous bill.   Yet, the story is different at Grand Hoyah, their hotpot has it all. From tender beef to fresh shrimp and from a handful of flavorful surimi choices to plenty of fresh veggies. Ingredients of Garand Hoyah's Shabu-shabu According to their waiters all of the ingredients were picked carefully for the satisfaction of their customers. This is also the underlying reason why their shabu-shabu stands out among other...

Leslie's at Tagaytay: An Honest Review

Image
Leslie's at Tagaytay: A Review I have been eating at Leslie's for quite sometime now,not because this place made  it to my own list of favorite restaurants but because whenever I visit Tagaytay, my companions would always like to eat in this place.   Similarly, most of the people that I know would always recommend this place. Accordingly, I realized that I have to make some justifications on why or why not you should check out this place in your next Tagaytay get away.  So here I am again making some honest restaurant and food review. Ambiance of Leslie's     I certainly love the interior of the place. I am such a fan of vernacular architectural design since it brings you a homey feel. I also like the idea on how the simplicity of each material, particularly, wood and rock, would create an impressively art decoration.
