How to commute to NAIA for just 20 pesos?

Perhaps, most of the budget travelers' dilemma whenever catching flights to NAIA is a convenient and an affordable way to get there. Well, fret no more since Airport Loop Bus is still here to serve you.
Strategically located at the MRT and LRT common station at EDSA Taft, backpackers can easily take this airport bus service to a NAIA for just a minimal fee of 20 pesos. The Airport Bus Loop service starts at 5:40 a.m and ends as late as 11:00 p.m..
Going to NAIA
The Airport Bus Loop terminal can be found downstairs the MRT EDSA Taft station particularly at the back of McDonald's.Other bus companies going to far-flung provinces such as Baguio and Pangasinan can be found at the terminal.
Each service will leave at the terminal for about 15 minutes. However, since traffic flow is unpredictable arrival of the services is also unpredictable.
Based on my experience, its first stop would be at NAIA Terminal 3 and then the 2nd stop would be at Resorts World Manila.
The Airport Bus Loop only drops passenger at NAIA Terminal 3. Yet, there are transfer services to Terminals 1,2 and 4 at the drop-off point at Terminal 3. There is also a kiosk for availing and reloading beep cards. Then again, you can only reload in a 100 peso amount.

 Going outside NAIA
They have routes to MRT station as well as Alabang. Bus stops going to MRT include Baclaran Church,Heritage Hotel and MRT Taft Station. Let me reiterate, traffic flow is unpredictable hence expect waiting.
Say for instance, it was a Saturday evening when I arrived at Manila and I took the bus to MRT. To my surprise, it took me an hour before we could get out the airport vicinity because first it was raining and traffic flow is that terrible.
Then again, there was also an instance wherein it just took me less than 30 minutes to be at the MRT EDSA station.

3 Tips for Airport Bus Passengers

So here are some tips on how can you maximize their services.
1. Be Early
My flight to Aklan at NAIA Terminal 3 is at 11:00 a.m so I took the MRT from Boni station to EDSA Taft station at 7:00 a.m.Since it was a Wednesday I am lucky that I did not experience any problems riding the MRT.
2. Anticipate Possible Delays
Expect delays of bus service since routing schedule varies depending on the traffic flow and usually buses would not leave unless seats were filled up with passengers.
 3. Bring Only What are Needed
Yes, there are available spaces near the driver for your big luggage but I don't really suggest it since you might be transferring to other terminals. Also, you may also encounter small shuttle services and people with small bags will be prioritized. So pack light and avoid waiting in line.
